My mythical creature

In the past few weeks Room Seven has been doing mythical creatures for the Waikowhai Primary art show.

First we had to practice making our artwork with play dough so then we could get a good picture of what we are doing. After we practice making it with play dough we started to use clay to mold our art work.Then we had to put it in a oven to cook our art work to be strong when we paint it white. Then we got to paint it white so then we could make it stand out when we paint it different colors.Finally we paint it whatever we wanted i used different strokes and colors to make it stand out.

Book trailer

Last week Our class room made a book trailer.
Our book trailer was made on I movie .When we were on i movie we also had to put a type of suitable trailer like scary,native and other ones so then it would look cool.After that we have to create it
when we created it we had to use pictures that would suite our book trailer and we also have to use the right pictures.What we were doing was trying to hook the reader to reading that book.

How to make a good comment.

On Monday the 8th of August James came in to talk about how to post a good comment. A good comment should have something positive ,capital letters and punctuation have a look at some of them.  Here's what Room 7 thinks makes great comments.

my circuit

On Monday the first day back of term Rooms 7, 8, 9 gathered in the hall in groups to play with brain box kits. Brain box kits are a collection of circuits with instructions of how to make cool circuits. We created flying circuits, a light bulb and a radio. The items we used were 4 batteries, 1 magnet, 1 to 5 connectors, a yellow fan, 1 light bulb, 3 on and of buttons and 2 battery units to make our creations. Here is the circuit i made.
